The Blue Ocean of Cross-border Trade, Setting Sail Again
With a fresh perspective, the event examined the opportunities hidden in suppressed global consumption in the post-pandemic era, aiming to unlock a new round of overseas expansion strategies. The forum specially invited two major cross-border e-commerce platforms, Amazon and DHgate, to share new opportunities for industrial belt development in the second half of the year. Alice, Senior Expansion Manager of Amazon Global Selling; Iris, Key Account Operations Manager of Amazon Global Selling; Keen, Senior Manager of Amazon Global Logistics Channel Expansion; Ye Huanghuang, Head of Investment Promotion at DHgate; and Gao Li, Industry Manager at DHgate, attended the event.

Currently, B2B cross-border e-commerce remains the dominant form of trade. At the meeting, Amazon announced that the platform will launch four major initiatives: "Global One-Stop," "Precision Product Selection Expansion," "Rising Seller Growth," and "Core Seller Selection," along with two major services: "New Seller Launch" and "Listing Optimization Customization (LBA)," to support the growth of new sellers in global markets in 2020. Furthermore, it will leverage Amazon's official global logistics and warehousing to help companies establish overseas logistics layouts. For DHgate, the goal is to create a one-stop procurement platform for global retailers and wholesalers. They aim to reconstruct the ecosystem of people, products, and marketplaces through four aspects: financial policy support (rapid payment and commission support), marketing and traffic resource support, platform functionality support, and upgraded team services. This will enable every cross-border merchant to understand industry data and achieve explosive growth.
