Step 1: Prepare Your Logo File
Before contacting any supplier, get your logo ready. Most factories accept:
Vector files (.ai, .eps, .svg) — best for embroidery, screen print, and DTG
High‑resolution PNG (300 DPI, transparent background) — works for most prints
PDF with embedded fonts — sometimes accepted but not preferred
Tip: If you only have a low‑res image (72 DPI JPG, for example), most suppliers can redraw it as a vector for a small fee. Don't skip this step — blurry logos are the #1 reason custom orders get delayed.
What to include in your first email:
Your logo file (or link to download)
The garment you want it on (t‑shirt, hoodie, jacket — even a specific style name)
Placement: left chest, center chest, full back, sleeve, or other
Size: roughly in cm or inches
Color: Pantone code if you have one (otherwise supplier can match)
Step 2: Choose Your Decoration Method
Different decoration methods suit different needs. The four most common:

Step 3: Confirm MOQ and Lead Time
Once decoration is decided, the supplier will quote:
MOQ (minimum order quantity)
Unit price (garment + decoration, often with price breaks at higher volumes)
Production lead time
Sample cost and sample lead time (if any)

Always request a pre‑production sample (PPS) before authorizing bulk production. This is non‑negotiable for first‑time orders. It costs a bit extra, but it prevents the most expensive mistakes.
Step 4: Approve Sample and Pay Deposit
Two things typically happen here:
Sample approval — receive a physical or photo sample, check the logo size, color, placement, garment quality. Approve in writing.
Deposit — usually 30%–50% of the order value, paid via the agreed method (at Ebuyone: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express).
After deposit is received:
Bulk production begins
Factory may send in‑production photos (cutting, printing, sewing, packing) — ask if you want them
A second payment (balance) is usually due before shipment
Step 5: Production, QC and Shipment

Quality check: every order goes through pre‑shipment inspection (AQL sampling standard)

After shipping, you'll receive a tracking number. Transit time depends on your destination and shipping method (sea / air / express).
